Indian Music : Qawwali a sufi and religious music is closely connected to Islam. It is a Sufi form of devotional music on the principles of Hindustani Classicals. It has one or two The present form of classic Pakistani Qawwali music goes back to the 12th century by the poet as well as composer Amir. Q music is perhaps even older than this. Still today it is in its classic shape. People tried to give it a modern look,but still the Sweetness of Qawwali is found only when it is sung by its original way. It is performed by one or two lead singers, several chorus singers, harmonium, tabla, and dholak. Along with this Chorus is also a very Important part. The Music Tempo is sometime slow in the beginning but gradually it increases with the progress of Qawwali. |
