Kerala Hill Station :

Devikulam:
The Gorgeous Devikulam is is at altitude of 1800m above sea level and just 16 kms southwest of Munnar in the State of Kerala. The term Devikulam means ‘the pond or lake of the Devi'. It is believed that Sita, Lord Ram's Wife came here and bathed in the lake in Devikulam. It is a paradise of nature lovers.
The mountains here are painted by the mist and filled with wild flowers and rare herbs. Throughout the year the climate is mild so tourists can visit the fabulous Devikulam any time.
Attractions : Famous attractions are well known Sita Devi lake, Pallivasal waterfalls, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary (50 kms),Thoovanam Falls, Mattupetty lake and the nearby tea estates.

By Air : Nearest Airport is Kochi (146 kms).
By Rail : Nearest Railway Station is Kochi (146 kms).
By Road : Munnar Bus Stand is well connected to other parts of South. Taxi facility is also available from other other major parts of south.

Peermade :
Peermade was once the summer resort for the Rajas of Travancore. It is again situated on the Western Ghats. Here you
can witness the spectuacular waterfall, greenery of tea, coffee pepper, cardamom and rubber.
Attractions : Major Attractions includes Churches, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and ferries to Alappuzha.

How to raech:
Peermade is 85 kms east to Kottayam, on the way to Thekkady.
 

Munnar :
Munnar is situated 1600m above sea level, on the Western Ghats is fully equipped with lakes, reservoirs, forests and tea estates by the mother nature. It is just 130 kms away from Kochi. There are nearbout 30 tea gardens who covered the Munnar and rich wildlife. It is the home of world's rarest mountain goat NILGIRI TAHR. Nearby attraction is Anaimudi (2694m) which is one of the highest peak of Southern India. One should keep in mind, there is heavy rain in between June to September at this place.
Attractions : Major attractions are Protestant Church, Christ Church, Mount Carmel, Tea Gardens and the Kundale Tea Plantation.

Nelliyampathy :
It is located at 1600m above sea level and 52kms from Palakkad. One can enjoy the adventure of excellent trekking trail, beauty of misty mountains, sprawling tea, coffee, cardamom and orange plantations.
Attractions : Majorattractions are Pothundi Reservoir, Padagiri,Palakkad (Palghat) and Seethakundu.
How to Reach :
By Air : Nearest Airport is Calicut (126 kms).
By Road : Bus facilities available from Palghat (75 kms) and Calicut (126 kms).
