Dwarka

Dwarka, is situated in the West of the State of Gujrat in India. As the name Dwarka comes in Ears of Hindus,imagination directly goes to the dream city made by Lord Krishna. This is on the west coast of Gujarat on the shore of the Arabian Sea. From this city, Lord Shrikrishna supposed to have ruled his Kingdom. As per Puranas, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas i.e. Nagaeshwar Mahadev also located in Dwarka. Dwarka is also sanctified as one of the Seat of Adi Shankaracharya. Who established four seats in different Direction in India

Thus, it is an important Hindu pilgrimage centre. Places to Visit at this place are Dwarkadheesh Temple which is also well known as Jagat Mandir which is over 2,500 years old.Another well known temple is Rukmini Devi temple, which belongs to 12th century. There are other temples also known as Gomati Ghat Temples. Gomati is the sacred river on the bank of which lots of temples are there. Other than this there is Gopi-Tallava and Bhalka tirth.
How to Reach
By Air : Nearest Airport is Jamnagar (145 kms).
By Rail : Dwarka has its own Railway Station connected with other parts of Country.
By Road : Dwarka Bus Stand is connected by State Transport buses, private buses and taxis to other parts of country.
