Jammu & Kashmir Hill Station:

Gulmarg:
The valley of Gulmarg was previously and still old person known it as ‘GauriMarg', situated above 2,730 meters, 56km away in south west of Srinagar. The word ‘Gulmarg' means 'Meadow Of Flowers' due to natural beauty of various flower beauties like Bluebells, Daisies, Forget Me Nots, Buttercups, etc.
The valley valley has beautiful mountains covered with snow. It is known as the premier skiing resort during winter. Stay is supported by various huts which are available through tourist office here. Best time to visit is in Summer from May to September and In Winter it is Nov to February.
Attractions : Its major attractions includes the full fledged Golf Club, Skiing, Trekking, Outer Circular Walk, Khilanmarg, Alpather, Ningle Nallah and Ferozpore Nallah.

How to reach:
By Air : Nearest Airport is Srinagar (56 kms) which is well connected Delhi.
By Rail : There is not any Railway Station at Gulmarg.
By Road: Gulmarg Bus Stand is connected to Srinagar but in Winter Buses reach only upto Tangmarg which 13 kms from Gulmarg.

Patnitop:
This ultimate hill station is situated at 2,024m above sea level. The beautiful meadow is full of lush Pine greenery and dense wood. It is equipped with three ice-cold freshwater springs which are believed to have medicinal properties.
Best time to visit this place in summer is from May to June, in Autumn September to October and in winter December to March

By Air : Nearest Airport is Jammu.
By Rail : Nearest Railway Station is Jammu.
By Road : Patnitop Bus Stand is well connected to Jammu through
taxies and Buses.

Pahalgam:
The beautiful Pahalgam is situated at an altitude of 2,130m and about 95 kms from Srinagar . The natural beauty here is far way from the modern progress that makes it a a perfect natural Hill Station destination and a perfect destination for adventure sports. The soaring mountains, glistening glaciers, gushing silvery streams of River Lidder attracts to the water sport lovers. Best time to visit in Summer is from May to September and in Winter November to February.
Attractions : Its Beautiful attractions include Chandanwari, Baisaran, Lidderwat, Kolohi, Tarsar Lake , Sheshnag Lake , Aru, Panchtarni and Amarnath caves. How to Reach :

By Rail : Pahalgam doesn't have Railway Station.
By Road : Pahalgam Bus stand is connected

Srinagar:
This wonderful city and hill station is the capital of Jammu and Kashmir and one considered as the one of the beautiful valley of Kashmir. It is situated at 1,730m above sea level, well known for its famous for its canals, houseboats and Mughal gardens. The city itself is quite unlike most other large Indian cities for hereyou are much more in Central Asia than on the sub continent. It also witnesses heavy snowfall bet December to February. This beautiful city is also well known for traditional Kashmiri Handicrafts and dry fruits all over the world. Best time to visit is in Summer from June to Early November and in winter between December to February.

By Rail : Srinagar has its nearest Railway Station Jammu Tawi (305 kms)
By Road : Srinagar Bus Stand is well connected is well connected to other parts like Jammu (298 km), Chandigarh (630 km), Delhi (876 km).
